Artist: Mark McQuilling Email:  Artist statement My current Body of work is a series of landscapes, or more precisely "anxiety landscapes"  These woodblocks and paintings investigate and parallel the serene and chaotic in landscape to and anxious mental state.  The woodblocks also investigate form, mark making, texture and the traditional Japanese woodblock aesthetic.  The 3 woodblocks are 4'x2' printed on canvas and the painting on paper is 38"x50.
