Dream Flags – Weather Permiting
Dream Flags are the brainchild of local English teachers Jeff Harlan and Sandy Crowe. The idea came from the Langston Hughes poem “The Dream Keeper”. The flags are colorful cloth flags that hang in the style of Tibetan Prayer flags. They contain poems, written and illustrated by children, inspired by their dreams and are made by the children. They come from all over the country. Look for them around Eastern State Penitentiary.
